Marriage

"I do." To Americans those two words carry great meaning. They can even change your life. Especially if you say them at your own wedding. Supra Cuban Making wedding vows is like signing a contract. Now Americans don't really think marriage is a business deal. But marriage is serious business.
It all begins with engagement. Traditionally, a young man asks the father of his sweetheart for permission to marry her. If the father agrees, the man later proposes to her. Often he tries to surprise her by "popping the question" in a romantic way.
Sometimes the couple just decides together that the time is right to get married. Supra Skytop 2 The man usually gives his fiancee a diamond ring as a symbol of their engagement. They may be engaged for weeks, months or even years. As the big day approaches, bridal showers and bachelor's parties provide many useful gifts. Today many couples also receive counseling during engagement. This prepares them for the challenges of married life.
At last it's time for the wedding.Supra Suprano High Shoes Although most weddings follow long-held traditions, there's still room for American individualism. For example, the usual place for a wedding is in a church. But some people get married outdoors in a scenic spot. A few even have the ceremony while skydiving or riding on horseback! The couple may invite hundreds of people or just a few close friends. They choose their own style of colors, decorations and music during the ceremony. But some things rarely change. The bride usually wears a beautiful, long white wedding dress. She traditionally wears "something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue." The groom wears a formal suit or tuxedo. Several close friends participate in the ceremony as attendants, including the best man and the maid of honor.
As the ceremony begins, the groom and his attendants stand with the minister, facing the audience. Music signals the entrance of the bride's attendants, followed by the beautiful bride. Nervously, the young couple repeats their vows. Traditionally, they promise to love each other "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health." But sometimes the couple has composed their own vows. They give each other a gold ring to symbolize their marriage commitment. Finally the minister announces the big moment: "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss your bride!"
At the wedding reception, the bride and groom greet their guests. Then they cut the wedding cake and feed each other a bite. Guests mingle while enjoying cake, punch and other treats. Later the bride throws her bouquet of flowers to a group of single girls. Tradition says that the one who catches the bouquet will be the next to marry. During the reception, playful friends "decorate" the couple's car with tissue paper, tin cans and a "Just Married" sign. When the reception is over, the newlyweds run to their "decorated" car and speed off. Many couples take a honeymoon, a one- to two-week vacation trip, to celebrate their new marriage.
Almost every culture has rituals to signal a change in one's life. Marriage is one of the most basic life changes for people of all cultures. So it's no surprise to find many traditions about getting married . . . even in America. Yet each couple follows the traditions in a way that is uniquely their own.

Wireless Telecommunications

On August 27, 2002, at the Central Institute of the Datang Telecom Technology and Industry Group based in Beijing,Supra Skytop 2 a young woman, full of energy and self-confidence, was giving a presentation entitled “The Design of the Switching Numerical Method of the Radio Resource Management (RRM) Strategy in TD-SCDMA, and the Testing of Its Simulated Systems,” which received rapt attention and high remarks from all the experts in Computer and Telecommunications who attended the meeting. That woman was I. At present, TD-SCDMA, W-CDMA, and CDMA 2000 are considered the main technological standards in the third generation of the world’s technological development in mobile telecommunications. And the design of a switching computation method for the RRM Strategy is a key element and technological crux for the TD-SCDMA technology. In retrospection, I found that it was my great enthusiasm for mobile telecommunications, and my persistent pursuit of accuracy and perfection that have helped me win accolades from colleagues and experts.Supra Suprano High

In China, since the TD-SCDMA uses a smart antenna, it makes a demand for a finer research on the computation method for the RRM Strategy, in areas such as PC, DCA, and HC. To me, a new starter in the company, it was a real challenge. Since the research team was new, it lacked engineering data and practical experience, although the equipment of the lab was quite advanced. It was only after much library research, thinking, and consultation with experts did I find a RRM computation method suitable for a smart antenna. Because a smart antenna has its advantages of a more accurate VE locating and reduced searching areas, this computation method effectively lowers the complexity of the switching process and its failure rate. During the time when I worked for the project, I often stayed up several days in a roll to perfect a lab test. But I also derived an enormous sense of satisfaction and fulfillment after overcoming obstacles, which more than compensated the pains and difficulties that I had to go through.

The rapid development of mobile telecommunication technology places a high demand on professionals working in this field.Supra TK Society To a certain extent, it has to be a labor of love. My keen interest in mobile telecommunications emanated from the concept of “personal communication.” During my undergraduate years at the Northwest University of Industry, I spent much of my spare time browsing over professional publications and journals, to keep myself abreast of current developments. The concept of “personal communication” I encountered during this process impressed me immensely. A system of “personal communication” is one that allows the user to communicate at anytime, anyplace, to anyone, and in any way. It painted such a beautiful of picture of a future society that I became fully convinced that it is a subject well worth my lifelong pursuit. This was why I chose Mobile Telecommunications as my area of specialization in the graduate program. As a graduate student, I completed several research projects independently and successfully, including, for instance, “Turbo Code and the Application of Its Coding Concept.” In short frame conditions, the Turbo Code, with its improved application in engineering, seems to have a bright future in real-time voice-data service (Please see the attached article). After completing my graduate degree, I entered Datang Group, a pioneer in China’s software development. Here I did software design for the switch control template used at the RNC equipment for the TD-SCDMA system, and developed a switching computation method for the RRM Strategy. I went through the entire process of software design for the switch control template for the RNC equipment, from topic analysis to the project outline and then to actual program writing.

The present development of telecommunication technology indicates that the smart antenna, software radio, and the transmission technology of subline 下行 high-speed subdivided exchange data (下行高速分组交换数据传输技术) are key technologies for today’s mobile telecommunications. Software radio, in particular, has attracted much public attention. The use of DSP and software to solve the problem of wireless interfaces of diverse standards on a public hardware platform has become a major issue pursued by many professionals in our field. I too hope to make my own contribution to the technological development in this area. In the next few years, the traditional concept of using chips to build wireless equipment for mobile telecommunication will be seriously challenged. In recent years, the technologies and standards of the third generation of mobile telecommunication have been rapidly updated. Software radio, I believe, will be the future of our trade.

My desire to know more about computer engineering prompted me to rise above my present conditions. The United States, as technological superpower, have first-rate teaching faculty and research facilities in the world. Its ideological openness and tolerance make a sharp contrast to Chinese culture, which tends to value tradition rather than innovation. Wireless telecommunication may be said to be one of the newest research areas, and it is new concepts and new vision that give life to the industry. I believe that in the fine research environment in the United States, I will be able to make “shortcuts” in attaining my academic and career goals.

I would like to apply for admission to the Center for Wireless Telecommunications of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. As the most prestigious research institute in Wireless Telecommunications, the Center has a large number of famed scholars and professionals dedicated to the theoretic research of Wireless Telecommunications. Meanwhile, it maintains close contact with the telecommunication industry, and in this way can test the theory in practical experimentation, which in turn promotes theoretic research. It is an ideal place for me to fully develop my research potential.

I look forward to finding a teaching position at college level in China after completing my graduate education, which will allow me to continue my research work in Wireless Telecommunications. I will impart my theoretic and practical knowledge to my students, and hope that this will benefit China’s wireless telecommunication industry, and society at large. I will make every effort to make the idea of “personal communication” a reality.

My Ideal Place

Some English friends told that Southampton is a very beautiful place and there is a place nearby the port for the momery of Titanic. supra shoes Quite a brillient scene in my imagination.
Although I'd like to go Southampton very much indeed, my ideal place is Imperial College London even I can't tell the reasons. One's favor or tendence can not be determined by oneself like the one you love. supra shoes But we must make it clear that what we should do. The Goal and Culture of Microsoft said:
Goal: Empower people through great software any time, any place and on any device (3A).
Culture: Wake up every day with a feeling of passion for the difference technology will make in people's lives.
And I have my own destination: Never give up!supra footwear

On Failure

Everyone expects to succeed in whatever he/she does. Unfortunately no one is always successful in all his / her life, not even such great people as Marx, Mao, Madam Currie and Einstein.Different people hold different attitudes towards failure. Some people become discouraged and are even defeated by failure, while some other people learn lessons from, failure and continue their efforts.Supra Vaider High Shoes
There is no denying that failure is a bad thing, but "Bad things can turn to good things." It all depends on how we deal with it. If we are pessimistic, we will lose heart. If we are optimistic, we will see hope. I really have sympathy for those who, being badly hurt by failure, lose self confidence and confidence in life. However, I have even greater admiration for those who, being stimulated by failure, go on straight forward to achieve success.
I believe in the saying "Failure is the mother of success." If I fail, I will try again, If I fail again. I will try and try again.

Thanksgiving Day Parades

Thanksgiving Day Parades, though not specifically documented, probably got their start when President Lincoln proclaimed an official day of Thanksgiving.Supra Vaider Green Given the Union achievements of the summer of 1863, it would have been logical that any official event declared by the President would have been accompanied by a show of military strength and discipline such as a full-dress parade. Elaborate floats, musical shows and entertainment celebrities have replaced the parades of armed and uniformed men marching in cadence or to a military band, but the desired effect, to lift the spirits of the spectators, remains the goal. The NYC Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade tradition began in 1924, and has grown into an annual event of balloons, bands, and floats, enjoyed by more than 46 million people each year in person and on TV.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Unbanization

Urbanization has been a subject of heated discussion for a long time. Some people are in favor, while others are opposed. In my opinion, urbanization has both advantages and disadvantages.
Generally, the advantages of urbanization can be listed as follows. First, urbanization can quicken our pace to catch up with the developed countries. We all know that the developed countries are all highly urbanized. Second, urbanization will help to solve the problem of unemployment. It will create more job opportunities for the unemployed. In addition, urbanization will free a great number of farmers from the fields, thus realizing the dream of agricultural mechanization in our country. Finally, urbanization can improve the standards of living of the migrants who move to the urban area.
However, the disadvantages of urbanization are also obvious. To begin with, administration of the increasing population in urban area might be a great challenge to the government. Moreover, more problems, such as increasing crime rate, over crowding, might increase, since more people are concentrated in a relatively smaller place.
It is evident that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Therefore, I am in favor of urbanization.

Happiness Is a Choice

Are you happy? Do you remember a time when you were happy? Are you seeking happiness today? Many have sought a variety of sources for their feeling of happiness. Some have put their heart and efforts into their work.Too many turned to drugs and alcohol. Untold numbers have looked for it in the possession of expensive cars, exotic vacation homes, and other popular "toys". Most of their efforts have a root in one common fact: people are looking for a lasting source of happiness. Unfortunately, I believe that happiness evades many because they misunderstand the process and journey of finding it.I have heard many people say that,"l'II be happy when I get my new promotion,'or "1'II be happy when I lose that extra 20 pounds." This thinking is dangerous because it presupposes that happiness is a "response'to having, being or doing something. In life, we all experience stimulus and response. Stimulus is when a dog barks at you and bares his teeth. Response is when your heart beats faster, your palms get sweaty and you prepare to run. Today, some people think that an expensive car is stimulus. Happiness is a response. A great paying job is stimulus. Happiness is a response. A loving relationship is stimulus. Happiness is a response. This belief leaves us thinking and feeling:"l'll be happy when..." It has been my finding that actually the opposite is true. I believe that happiness is a stimulus and response is what life brings to those who are truly happy. When we are happy, we tend to have more success in our work. When we are happy, people want to be around us and enjoy loving relationships.supra shoes
When we are happy, we more naturally take better care of our bodies and enjoy good health. Happiness is not a response rather, it is a stimulus. Happiness is a conscious choice we make every day of our lives. For unknown reasons to me, many choose to be miserable, frustrated and angry most of the time. Happiness is not something that happens to us after we get something we want -- we usually get things we want after we choose to be happy. I have made only one simple rule for my own happiness:Every day above ground is a good day. Therefore, I tend to have a lot of good (and happy) days in succession.

The Global Warming

People around the world may feel that the climate has been getting steadily warmer and warmer in recent years. Places which used to be abundant in snowfall have frequently experienced snowfree winters. Drought lasts longer in some dry areas. People find that without air conditioners they could hardly work or fall asleep on hotter summer daysg.
The side effects of global warming are alarminS. A warmer global climate melts the ice caps, raising sea levels. What is more, it disturbs weather patterns, causing droughts, severe storms, hurricanes. People suffer a lot from disasters relevant to global warming.
To stop global warming we should make immediate and continual efforts. We hope the situation will soon change. Global warming catches and holds our concern, for it affects us and will affect our later generations. We cannot wait any longer. Do it. Do it right. Do it right now.

Electricity

The modern age is an age of electricity. People are so used to electric lights, radio, televisions, and telephones that it is hard to imagine what life would be like without them. When there is a power failure, people grope about in flickering candlelight, cars hesitate in the streets because there are no traffic lights to guide them, and food spoils in silent refrigerators.

Yet, people began to understand how electricity works only a little more than two centuries ago. Nature has apparently been experimenting in this field for million of years. Scientists are discovering more and more that the living world may hold many interesting secrets of electricity that could benefit humanity.

All living cell send out tiny pulses of electricity. As the heart beats, it sends out pulses of record; they form an electrocardiogram, which a doctor can study to determine how well the heart is working. The brain, too, sends out brain waves of electricity, which can be recorded in an electroencephalogram. The electric currents generated by most living cells are extremely small - often so small that sensitive instruments are needed to record them. But in some animals, certain muscle cells have become so specialized as electrical generators that they do not work as muscle cells at all. When large numbers of these cell are linked together, the effects can be astonishing.

The electric eel is an amazing storage battery. It can seed a jolt of as much as eight hundred volts of electricity through the water in which it live. ( An electric house current is only one hundred twenty volts.) As many as four-fifths of all the cells in the electric eel's body are specialized for generating electricity, and the strength of the shock it can deliver corresponds roughly to length of its body.

Put a Little Love in Your Life

Put a Little Love in Your Life I remember growing up,my mom always said, "Half the fun of doing anything is sharing it with other." It's so true.Friends and mates allow us to savor our success and our joys, comfort us in our challenging moments, and provide a mirror for us to learn more about ourselves. I've always looked at friends as the family we choose.
They enrich our lives. As Robert Louis Steven once said, "A friend is a present which you give yourself." To be a good friend or partner, it's important to be a good listener. Hear what your friend or mate has to say first rather than jumping to conclusions or getting defensive. Sometimes it is useful to be their mirror, for when they hear their words repeated back to them, it can help them to realize that what they said was not exactly what they meant to say. Patience, compassion and empathy are also important traits in being a good friend or partner. You know the old golden rule,"Care for others the way you would like them to care for you." The support of a friend during a tough time could make the difference between success and failure.
Encouragement and confidence are priceless gifts that can help change a person's Life. Take care, though, with whom you choose to have close relationships for they can have a tremendous impact on your self-esteem and life path. As someone once told me, "The attitudes of your friends are like the buttons on an elevator. They will either take you up or down."

A Good Deed

Yesterday when Susan was waiting for the bus at a bus stop, she saw a purse lying on the ground. She picked it up and opened it. In it was some money and a telephone card. She wanted to find out who lost it. So she went to a public telephone and dialed the number on the card. Fortunately someone answered the phone. When the lady came and got back her purse, she thanked Susan for her good deed.

Trip to Africa

Nice to be here. Here is my African journal. Hope you like it.
To many people, Africa equals poverty. When I was advised that I would be sent to South Africa, that was what I thought as well. In order to have a better understanding of what South Africa really is, I decided to go to the library and borrow some books on South Africa. After going through several books, some on history and some on its tourism, the image of South Africa becomes much clearer to me. It seems that the country has been going through a history which is similar to those of the New World, countries that were “explored”, occupied, “developed” and finally went independent. My trip to South Africa turned out to be truly an eye-opening tour.
Altogether, I stayed 10 days in Africa Continent: 9 days in South Africa, thee largest country in Africa, and 1 day in Swaziland. As some of you might have known, I was sent by my employer, Goway Travel, to go there on a “Feminization Trip”. Since there is no direct flight from any of the cities in Canada, I flew from Vancouver to New York, on 13 May, 2003. And then, my journey continued on South African Airlines from New York to Johannesburg, the capital city of South Africa. It took almost 24 hours before I landed in Johannesburg.
Cape Town, known for having Cape of Good Hope, wine and cheese, as well as the Table Mountain, is our first stop. Two full days sightseeing kept us busy. With excellent road, nice and clean street, Cape Town seems to be an ideal place for first-time visitors to start their trip in South Africa. In Cape Town, the most interesting sightseeing spot is the “Afrikaans Language Monument”. Afrikaans language was made of languages of Holland, local natives, German and English. The monument witnesses part of the history of Africa, with the involvement of many major European countries. What impressed me most was seeing people stood up, created their own language and meanwhile lived peacefully with those who spoke different languages and had cultural backgrounds. My tour in Cape Town included wine and cheese tasting, which was again my favorite! Unique geographic location, together with European “technology” makes the area one of the most suitable places to produce wine and cheese.
While in Cape Town, we also visit Table Mountain and Cape of Good Hope. Standing in Good Hope, seeing the two Oceans joining each other made me marvel the wonder that our nature offers. It reminds me the phrase that Tourism South Africa uses in promoting South Africa: “One World, one country”, meaning that people can come and see what the world looks like in South Africa. In addition to the Cape of Good Hope, we also took a cruise to a Seal Island. This is my first time, seeing seals, grouping with unbelievable numbers, staying live in icy Atlantic. I now come to see why ancient Chinese suggested: “Readings should be accompanied by traveling.” Isn’t that true that we should all travel to experience and understand other parts of the world so as to live and study more wisely?
After two days tour in Cape Town, we took bus to Knysna, a small but eloquent coast city. The bus trip to Knysna seems like a journey through a picture, the sceneries along the way seemed just unreal. One hour, we were in a barren land, and the next, we came across jade-green forests, beaches dotted with flowers and birds. Locals name the trip “the Garden Route”, which I fully agree.
We arrived into Zululand after one overnight stay in Kynsna and Durban. Entering the land of Zulu seems like opening another chapter of the book. A chapter shows the other side of South Africa. Due to limited time, we only visited Dumzulu Traditional Village. In the village, we saw how the locals built houses, defended themselves, met and greeted their guests. The Zulus are very proud of their own culture, and they retain well their customs and traditions which have been passed down generations ago. I wish we could stay there longer.
On 21 May, we finally arrived into Kruger National Park, where we would start our four-day trip of seeing the “Big-Five”: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. This four-day experience could hardly be described by words. Imagine having 8 lions roaring, playing, hugging and chasing each other around you? If this is not exciting enough, how about seeing a leopard stocking to you gracefully and stop just a few yards away from you?
Altogether, we did five game drives. We went out with six of us, companied by one ranger and one tracker. Our jeep brought us to Africa jungles, a wonder land of animals. To many of us, the stereotype of animals comes from the Hollywood movies. We would always think that animals are dangerous and they would always chase human beings. Our first few game drives were in Kruger National Park, where we mostly saw draraf and impala. After Kruger, we moved to Sabi Sands, which is another habitat with different animals. Interestingly, the first thing we did was signing a “waver” agreement, confirming to the property that we agreed to give up the right of suing them in the event of being “eaten” by animals. The property was built without fence in the reserve. So, our first don’t is to not to step out of the room without accompanies of security guides, which later proved to be very true. One afternoon, one of our team members was about to enjoy the pool when suddenly he saw a leopard, which was few steps away from him. Apparently, the leopard was also confused as to who the “new fellow” was. So the gentleman, as he later described, bent down gracefully like what we see in films, backed out calmly without exposing his back to the leopard, and finally raced to the front desk to report his encounter with one of the big fives.
Most of the properties in Sabi Sands are not fenced. We were advised and later confirmed that animals won’t attach people unless we intruded their territory. When seeing an animal, the rangers advised, always stay calm and avoid entering the “intimate zone” of the animals. “They will only attach you when seeing you are threatening them”, the ranger said. However, people do get killed, mostly by rhinos, which mostly happen at night when the animals are active. So, African Survival Rule No. One: stay away from animals and keep yourself in the same zone.
In additional to the morning and afternoon game drives, we also did evening game drives. Seeing and observing animals in the evening was totally different as what we did in the day time. In Sabi Sands, unlike in Kruger, we were accompanied by one ranger and one tracker. Worked as a team, the tracker, as his name suggests, mostly tracks the prints, waste or rubbish, that animals left. By observing those, the tracker indicated the ranger where to go, when to stop. The ranger needs to pass different tests before getting a license to become a ranger. Our most unforgettable night brought us a union with eight lions. As usual, we saw the tracker carefully observed the surroundings while we moved along the road. Suddenly, the tracker raised his hand and indicated the ranger to drive the vehicle into a bush, where we saw two lions lying not far away from us. Apparently they were in their sleep. We waited for about 15 minutes, nothing happened. Ten minutes went by, again, we saw nothing but quiet, dark sky with shining stars. Suddenly, we noticed one lion raised his head. It seemed that he sensed something. Then, there came a sound of lion’s roaring from afar. We were later advised that the two lions were male and the roaring sound were their female counterparts. This is how the show started: First of all, the male lions stood up, met their female siblings. They hugged and started to chase. Everyone of us was quite relaxed and pleased until suddenly realizing that we were surrounded by lions, which apparently celebrated their reunion. To make things even more dramatic, the tracker turned off the light, left the vehicle stood in total darkness with lions chasing around and roaring while we, 12 live human beings, sat and waited … The reunion finished in about 20 minutes and the lions finally went into different directions. That night, we drove back with our hearts pounding like drums.
I hope you enjoy this very short journal of my days in South Africa: a country that offers a unique world to all of us.

My dream home

My dream home is on a lonely island. It is in the forest near the beach. It is on the foot of a mountain. There is a water fall near my house. There are a lot of different kinds of trees around the house, so I can have fresh and delicious fruits every day. I have a very big villa. There are at least eighteen rooms in it. I have a pretty garden. There is a lovely pound in the garden. There are some noble swans swimming happily. What a perfect home it is!

An Unforgettable Day

Late one afternoon, I was on my way home from school. I walked slowly along the street with my head drooped. The scenes on both sides of the street were beautiful, but I had no interest in them at all. I walked and walked, thinking of what had happened that day.
Just a few minutes before the second class began that afternoon, I was asked to go to the teacher's office. I heard my teacher talking to my mother with anger.
How could you dare to go to see a film this morning without permission? Mother said at the top of her voice, slapping me in the face heavily. I look at Mother, dumbfounded…
I walked more slowly, for I had seen my house ahead, where Mother was always standing at the door, smiling at me, at this time every day. But now, she wasn't there. My heard was beating faster. I even didn't dare to open the door for fear that Mother should beat again.
Not knowing what to do, I sat on the ground near the door, blaming myself for what I had done. I was lost in deep agony.
Suddenly a soft hand patted me on the head. I looked up, seeing Mother standing beside me. I couldn't help crying, Mum! tears rolling down my cheeks.

Tea and the Tea Culture of China

Since I started my major in the tea culture of China, I have been deeply impressed by its sophistication and beauty. I would like to share some fascinating aspects of the tea culture of China.

In a country with the history of five thousand years, the Chinese tea drinking habit dated back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD). It became a national tradition and led to development of a delicate tea drinking ritual. Over the centuries, poets and artists in China wrote many marvelous masterpieces, in appreciation of tea and Chinese people’s constant love of tea drinking .One of the best-known writers is Lu Yu, who was regarded as the “Tea Sage ” for he composed the first book on tea. In his classic book, he detailed his studies of tea, such as the origin of tea, tea tools, tea picking, tea cooking, tea ceremony and well-known areas where tea was grown. And the valuable knowledge he recorded has laid foundation for modern tea culture development.
Based on ways in which tea leaves are processed, there are five distinct types of tea. They are as follow: the green tea, the black tea, the Wulong tea, the compressed tea and the scented tea. Among them, may foreigners are familiar with the green tea. The Longjing tea, of the green type, has a reputation both at home and abroad. And people are engrossed in the fantastic smelling, the delicate tasting, as well as the wonderful shape.
When it comes to drinking a cup of tea, we usually invite a few friends, go to a serene place, and drink tea imbibe slowly in small sips. The popularity of tea lies not only in its good taste but also in its benefits to our health .Tea helps our body’ digestion .So, it’s part of lifestyle to drink a cup of tea after the meal. Caffeine is one of the main materials found in tea. Thus, the amazing job of tea is to refresh our mind.
Scientific studies show that tea works effectively against cancer. In recent years in China, there has been a growing trend for women to drink tea to lose or control their weight. As the old saying goes, one apple a day keeps the doctor away. With tea, I might as well to add that one cup a day keeps the trouble away.

Fishing

Everybody has some hobbies.

I like playing soccer, watching TV, listening to music.but fishing is my favorite relaxation.

I like fishing not because I like to eat fish but because I enjoy the wonderful time while I am fishing.

My father has a friend named Huang Cheng who lives in the countryside and owns a big fish pond. He is good at fish-farming. There are many kinds of fish in his fish pond. He can easily support his family with the income from the fish pond.

Last Sunday was a lovely, sunny day. My father drove me to his friend's place with two new fishing rods, which he bought not long ago. The scene was really beautiful there in the countryside. Uncle Huang took us to a very good place for fishing and gave us some bait-earth worms. First, I was a little afraid of the Earthworms. Uncle Huang taught me how to use them. Then we started to fish.

My father put some fish food into the water. Soon the part of the water attracted many fish to gather there. As soon as I put the fishhook into the water, the fish nibbled at the bait. I thought that it rose to the bait. So I raised the fishing rod, the fish swam away and my fishing line got entangled in some weeds. What a pity!I was too impatient. I should have waited for the fish to snap at the bait for some time and then I could catch it.

So from then on, I became very careful and patient. At last, I caught eight big fish and my father caught only three little fish. I was so happy with my success in fishing.Fishing can make me more and more patient and comfident!I love fishing!

Hong Kong Ocean Park

Today's holiday, my father and mother went to the Ocean Park.
Ocean Park is very famous in Hong Kong. Most of the tourists come to Hong Kong, and always to visit the amusement park.
In Ocean Park, we can see a variety of marine life. For example, jellyfish, octopus, dolphins and so on.
When the submarine went to Middleton, they saw a lot of sharks, devil fish, dolphin fish, and other sorts of fish. To see them, I feel I'm very happy.
